The Challenge

"Evolve" is a premium, editorial-first apparel brand, but their old Shopify site was slow, generic, and felt cheap. It was a "template" in every sense of the word, and it was actively hurting their brand perception. Their conversion rates were tanking because the site experience didn't match the high quality of their products.


The Solution

We abandoned the template and went "headless." I designed a new, blazingly-fast, and minimalist site in Figma that focused on large-scale typography and beautiful, full-bleed product photography.

Then, I built the entire frontend in Framer, which gave us total creative freedom. The key was integrating the Shopify API. This allowed us to use Shopify's powerful, reliable backend for cart and checkout while running a custom, high-performance, and beautifully designed frontend. We got the best of both worlds.

The Outcome

The new headless site immediately transformed the business. By creating a digital experience that felt as premium as the products, we achieved a:

  • 289% increase in conversion rate in the first month.

  • 60% reduction in page load times, which dramatically improved the mobile shopping experience.
